Monceau – Metro Ligne 2

Most of the close to 300 metro entrances scattered throughout Paris are works of art themselves. Coupled with the variety of Parisians who wear their city like jewelry they are quite compelling.

I take a few photos of a moment and place that inspire me. I’ll use them to compile a pencil sketch that captures the movement and the senses I felt. I then add layer after layer of color until I live the moment again.
